Welcome Back!
Welcome back to the 2020-2021 school year! It is definitely one of the most unique starts that we have ever had! However, it’s been great to see students interacting with their teachers and excited about learning again. We are all adjusting to a new way of learning.
Hopefully, you have now been able to establish a daily routine for reading and completing school assignments. It is important for children to know that we are all working together as a team to educate them. Your support is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call the office.
The Cleveland Connection will be published and distributed electronically bimonthly. It is a great way to stay connected and learn about upcoming events and important school news.

Dismissal Procedures
- Bus - Any students riding the bus must be registered through the Transportation Office at the Savage Center. More information regarding bus transportation may be found on the district website.
- Loop - If you plan to pick your child up in a car please use the loop located at the front of the school. There is staff trained to direct traffic and get your child loaded in the cars safely.
- Nichols - This is a good option if your child is walking up the hill in the direction of the high school. For safe street crossing, there is a crossing guard located at the corner of Geraldine and Nichols and another crossing guard at the top of the hill at the high school rotary.
- Westover - This is for students walking in the direction of St. Tim's or across to Westover Pkwy. Students are dismissed to a crossing guard at the corner of Nichols and George Willett Pkwy.
- Big Y - This is a pathway on the side of the school that leads to Walpole St. A staff member walks the students up to the crossing guard at Walpole St.
- Extended Day - Students who are registered in the Extended Day program will be dismissed to the cafeteria.
As always, if your child's dismissal is going to change, at any time, you must send a note into school informing the teacher/office of the change.
