Important Baylor Scott & White News
TRS and Baylor Scott & White (BSW) Health Plan have mutually decided not to renew BSW’s Health Plan contract at the end of the current plan year. This BSW HMO product will not be offered as a plan option for the upcoming 2024-25 plan year.
The TRS-ActiveCare Primary+ plan offers comparable coverage and a lower premium in most tiers. TRS is confident the overall impact of this transition for your employees will be small. If, during this summer’s Annual Enrollment, they don't select another TRS health plan, they'll be automatically enrolled in the TRS-ActiveCare Primary+ plan so they don’t have a gap in health coverage.
TRS will be offering participant webinars this summer and we encourage you to sign up so you can learn more about the TRS-ActiveCare plans. Impacted employees will receive an email with details on dates and registration in the coming weeks.
Food as Fuel: What to eat for Energy and Well-being
Food should be fun and fresh, but it should also be fuel.
The food you eat every day can give you energy. That energy can be long lasting, or fleeting, depending on what you choose.
Choosing food that's high in nutrients and has the right mix of proteins, carbohydrates and fat has been proven to boost your energy. And that energy doesn't just power your body. How and what you eat can also have a dramatic effect on your brain power and mood. Click on the picture to learn more about fueling your body with diet and exercise.
Employees Leaving the District
If you are departing from the District, you can request your service records using the provided link. Please note that service records will only be considered official once you've completed your final day of work as per your service calendar.
