Welcome to the second 9 weeks of school! We hope you have had some joyful and restful time with family. I wanted to send a heartfelt thank you to all of our Tornillo community for all of your help and support and making it a successfull first 9 weeks of school for our students. Please know that all of the staff at Tornillo ISD come from of place of service and hard work, always striving to provide the very best for our Tornillo students.

Over the next few weeks, teachers and administrators will be meeting with each of our students for academic goal setting and ensure that each of our students know their academic progress so far. We invite you to have the same conversations at home.

We are excited to announce that our PK-8 Spirit Wear Online store is now open. Order your sweatshirt hoodie before the cold weather hits. PK-8 Attendance

We take a lot of pride in our attendance at our school. Please help us maintain it at 98%!

1. When your child is absent, please send the doctor's note or parent note within 48 hours.

2. All PK-8 students start school at 8:00. Tardy Bell rings at 8:05am. A student will receive a tardy slip every time they arrive late.

3. When your child is absent, please expect a phone call from our front office or your child's teacher to ensure that your child is ok.
