A Note from Mr. Tucker
Hello DMS Students and Families,
The district wide art show is tonight at Shepherd Hill from 5-7 PM. Please stop by and see all of beautiful artwork made by students in the district. We’ve had a lot of activity in the building lately with spring sports, field trips and we have much more coming up. DMS students demonstrate daily how to support each other and the community. With the leadership of their teachers, they have come together to do great things. Mrs. Patrock in grade 6 continues her community outreach project providing pajama bags for local children in need. The student counsel, Mr. Ide and his team of 8th grade students conducted a very successful food drive this year. Our thanks to all who have contributed and the great work of the DMS community.
The second session of MCAS begins next week. Students in grades 7 and 8 will have MATH MCAS on Tuesday, May 7 and Wednesday, May 8. Grades 5 and 6 will have Math MCAS the following week, Tuesday, May 14 and Wednesday May 15. Make up dates will be relayed at a later date to students and families who are absent during the scheduled testing dates.

Annual Food Drive
The food drive was a great success this year. Under the leadership of Mr. Ide, the 8th grade and student counsel, we were able to donate 13,401 items to the Dudley Webster Food Share. Thank you to all students, staff and families who came together to make this possible.
Pajama Bags
As Ms. Patrock's 6th grade classes continue their Community Service Learning, working on pajama bags for children in need through YOU, Inc. We received a very generous donation from National Grid! Mrs. Tracy Brown (her son Nate was Ms. Patrock's student 5 years ago!) delivered 50 amazing pajama bags that she organized with the employees of National Grid!! Thank you Mrs. Brown & National Grid!!
We are continuing to collect pajama bags and the need right now is for children ages 7 - adult sizes!
Thank you again!
