Looking forward to seeing everyone at Spring Fling tonight from 5:30-7:30!

Windsor's LMC needs all of the checked-out books back by next Thursday, May 25th.

As the weather is getting nice, we have many bikers and walkers. Please be sure to remind your children to walk their bikes once they arrive on the sidewalk surrounding the school. Walkers and bikers should always cross the street at the crosswalk. It is very dangerous to have your child cross in the middle of Windsor Drive.

Summer will come just a few hours early this year. On Wednesday, June 7, 2023, students will be dismissed early.

• Middle School Students will dismiss at 1:30 pm.
• Early Childhood Students will dismiss at 2:15 pm.
• Elementary School Students will dismiss at 2:30 pm.
• CAP will begin at 2:30 pm.

At the May 9 Board meeting, a REVISED calendar for the 2023-2024 school year was approved. Please note the following changes. Please also note that the updated calendar has the word REVISED at the top in red:

2. Monday, April 1, 2024 is a Staff Attendance Only | School Improvement (SIP) Day

3. Monday, April 1,2024 is an Emergency Day 1

4. Friday, April 5, 2024 is a School Attendance Day

5. Monday, April 8, 2024 is a School Attendance Day

Hello Windsor Families!

We are enjoying warmer weather with more exposed skin and time outdoors on field trips and recess! In light of this here is our district policy regarding Sunscreen:

If you know your child is sensitive to the sun or will be exposed to the sun for extended periods of time on a field trip, etc., please take the precautions you normally would if your child was at home with you. The child may apply sunscreen at school as long as the process is not disruptive to class activities or you may prefer your child wear clothing that protects them from the sun. Please know that school personnel will not be allowed to apply sunscreen to your children nor remind them to do so.

If your child will be absent or tardy, please call the main line and listen for the prompts, 847-398-4297. You can also complete this online form: CLICK HERE TO REPORT AN ABSENCE ONLINE. While you may also email the teacher, there are times that the teacher will not read email prior to school starting. Please always leave a message first. We cannot stress this enough. Please also make every effort for your child to arrive at school on time. Missing the beginning of the school day often has a negative impact on students for the rest of the day. Please contact the office if your child will be tardy or needs to leave early.
