Comprehensive Planning
Upper Dublin School District will begin to develop our next Comprehensive Plan. Comprehensive Planning is required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and includes 3 stages - Ready, Set, Go. Each phase is summarized below. This spring we will begin the Ready phase. A Steering Committee of stakeholders has been formed to guide the development of the plan and provide feedback to the administration. At our first meeting, we reviewed the process, requirements, and timeline, as well as began to brainstorm our mission statement and vision.
Ready - This phase develops the mission and vision statements for the district and will also identify the district’s shared values.
Set - This phase includes a needs assessment, which will include reviewing all types of data (perceptual, academic, behavioral, etc.). Through analysis of the data, we will identify strengths and areas for improvement.
Go - The final phase sets goals and develops action plans to accomplish those goals including the professional development plan.
At our next meeting, we will focus on our vision for the future of learning at Upper Dublin. Our completed plan is due to PDE by March 31, 2025. To stay updated on our progress, visit the Upper Dublin School District Comprehensive Plan webpage, where you will find presentations and notes from our meetings. This is an exciting time to set the direction of the District!

Cardinal Kudos from UDEF
Show gratitude to a special teacher by giving Cardinal Kudos during Teacher Appreciation Week (May 6-10) or as a thoughtful end-of-year gesture. Your donation to the Upper Dublin Education Foundation (UDEF) can serve as a tribute to a teacher or staff member who has made a lasting impact. Each honoree receives a certificate from UDEF and an acknowledgment from Dr. Smith. All proceeds benefit UDEF's Innovation Grant Program which supports our educators' creative ideas beyond the district's budgeted curriculum. Give Cardinal Kudos now.
