The End of the Year
Fenton Area Public Schools has selected nominees for Support Staff of the Year. World of Wonder is fortunate to have not one, but TWO of the amazing nominees at our building! One of our building substitutes, Betsy Berkey, and our paraprofessional Kelly Eddy. We appreciate all they do for our students!
World of Wonder Calendar Update
Friday June 2nd we will be offering School Age Before Care ONLY. Preschool Programs & School Age After Care will not run. Instead, we will be having a End of the Year Family Picnic for all WoW families at Bicentennial Park. Only families who attend School Age Before Care will be charged for this day.

- May 17th & 18th: Vision & Hearing Screenings for students heading to Young 5's or K

St. Jude's Trike-a-thon 2023
The Ellen St. parking lot will be blocked off for the event on May 3rd & 4th. Please park in the lot off of West St. if you need to enter the building those two days.
Teacher Appreciation Week!
To show our World of Wonder teachers how much we appreciate them, we will be having theme dress-up days, a parent donated breakfast (see Sign-Up Genius below), an appreciation station, and much more!
Keep an eye out for further communication from me about some surprises we have up our sleeves for our amazing staff.

Summer 2023
Enrollment for Summer 2023 is in full swing! Below are flyers for our programs we offer during the summer.
- We only have half day preschool slots available
- Enrollment for School Age Summer Camp will open to the community in May, if you are a current family who is interested in attending - please contact us as soon as you can! We don't want you to miss out on a spot.

Fall 2023
We encourage all families with a student turning 4 before December 1st to apply for our FREE preschool program through the state of Michigan. You can find the link below for Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP).
World of Wonder Illness Policy
For the health and safety of other children and staff, a child should be kept
home if he/she has any of the following symptoms:
- A temperature above normal within the past 24 hours
- Earache, heavy nasal discharge, diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting, red or watery eyes, chills or fever, persistent coughing, undiagnosed skin rash, or sore throat
- Any diagnosed, contagious, communicable disease
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has warned of an unseasonal RSV and Influenza. Similar to COVID, please report any positive cases to our Office Manager, Amber Brown by call 810-591-8349.
COVID 19 Guidelines
Please monitor your child for the below symptoms. We follow the Michigan Safer School Guidance for isolating and quarantining. Please contact our office manager, Amber Brown (810-591-8349) when a student is quarantined or isolated for COVID or has tested positive for COVID.
Symptoms to Monitor For:
o Temperature of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher
o Sore throat
o New uncontrolled cough (for children with chronic cough due to allergies or
asthma, a change in their cough from baseline)
o Difficulty breathing (for children with asthma, a change from their baseline
breathing)
o Diarrhea, vomiting or stomach ache
o New onset of severe headache, especially with a fever
