In this month's CFLC newsletter, you will find information about our community partner, Friendly Hands Food Bank. There is information about how to access food and supplies and information about ways to help. There are also a few back to school articles to help with the transition back into school in this newsletter. As always, please look through the community events at the bottom of this newsletter!

Walk-in's are welcome but appointments are suggested. To make an appointment call 860-482-3338. Bring a photo ID and bags for food
To donate food drop off anytime at Friendly Hands (24/7) or make a monetary donation by visiting www.fhfb.org

Meet the Community Family Learning Center Librarians
CFLC Coordinator, Educator, & Resource Librarian
Paula has worked for Torrington Public Schools since 2011 as an educator, coordinator, and librarian for the Community Family Learning Center located at KidsPlay Children's Museum. Paula loves to read and loves to help families find books and resources that will be helpful to them. Prior to working for TPS, Paula was a K & 1 classroom teacher and Literacy Specialist. Currently Paula works with incoming kindergarten children and families for Torrington Public Schools by connecting families to the schools and community providers. She supports the kindergarten registration process by coordinating programs such as the Kindergarten Fair, Meet & Greet at KidsPlay and more!
