Griffin Eldridge and Michael Sutter Jr. were recently selected as state finalists in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow STEM competition! Using creativity and collaboration, Griffin and Eldridge developed a project that would serve as an innovative solution to meet the needs of their fellow peers.

Griffin and Michael are developing a prototype for their revolutionary Recess Buddy Signal. Their efforts have earned Troy Intermediate $2500 in Samsung Technology for the STEAM/STEM classroom

Simple steps to participate in Troy's benefit night are as follows:

Click - School Challenge Fundraiser
Select Troy
Select Teacher name
Click apply
Place order as normal

Important notes:

Call in orders, Web orders, and mobile app orders will receive 20% donation back to Troy
Troy must be added by clicking "School Challenge Fundraiser" button on online or mobile orders
A pop-up will then ask for the teacher name
For call in orders, only orders that we have been told are for Troy will count towards Donation. It is very important to stress that to the parents, so that you get all the donation that is due to you.

Troy Gives Back

A heartfelt thank you to our parents and students for your incredible generosity during the toy drive. Your kindness will brighten the holidays for children spending this season in the hospital. The Pediatric Oncology Unit will deliver the gifts next week, bringing smiles to so many faces.

Thank you for making this initiative such a tremendous success. Wishing you all a joyful and Merry Christmas!

Dress for the Weather

As the weather starts to get cold please be sure that students are coming to school prepared to go outside if the temperature and wind chill factor is above 20 degrees Fahrenheit. We will monitor the conditions daily.

Report an Absence:

If your child will be absent from school, please remember to email Christine.klein@alcsoh.org or call (440) 930-8297.

When reporting an absence please give the student’s name, homeroom and reason for the absence.

From Guidance

Please be advised that any forms requiring completion by a teacher for a doctor must be submitted to our Guidance Department. They will ensure the forms are distributed to the appropriate teachers, and we will fax all completed forms back to the doctor's office.
