Important Message from SMMS

Dear Spring Mills Middle Community,

First and foremost, I take the safety and welfare of Spring Mills Middle students and staff as my top priority. I am writing to update you of a threat that was overheard, reported to administration, and investigated last week. A message went sent out to all parents on April 24. Rumors about this event are still circulating. We take all threats seriously, and we have been working with law enforcement. The situation does not appear to be credible.

As we close out this school year, I want to remind our school community that we must work together to promote student safety and success.

We will have law enforcement onsite tomorrow throughout the day as an added precaution. As always, if you have additional questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.
