2nd Quarter Newsletter
Note from Administration
Welcome to the 2nd Quarter of the 24-25 school year! Our teachers and students have been working hard! We will continue this work throughout this new quarter. We have lots of excellent learning opportunities planned for this time of year and look forward to seeing our students engaged in their 2nd Quarter learning!
For our School Improvement Plan this year, we have a focus on academics and attendance. We have school-wide goals set in academics (Reading, Math, and Science) and in Attendance. Our school-wide goals are to have 54% proficient (on grade level) in Reading, 58% proficient in Math, and 53% proficient in Science. Our attendance goal is an Average Daily Attendance rate of 95% or higher. Students have made academic goals based on their beginning of the year PM1 assessment data. We encourage all our families to talk with their students about their goals and what they are doing to reach their goals. We will check our progress at mid-year (January) to see if we are on track to meeting our school-wide goals in academics and attendance. We appreciate your continued support with these initiatives!
