Staff Appreciation Week
Happy Staff Appreciation Week to our fabulous staff at Memorial and New Albany Schools! We couldn't ask for a better staff to work alongside and we are truly appreciative of all that they do. Not only do they take excellent care of students, they are also amazing colleagues and friends.
We appreciate them so much!
School Lunch Hero Appreciation Day
We are grateful for our school Lunch heroes, Ms. Janet, Ms. Janice, and Ms. Linda, for all they do for our students. They are always so positive and friendly with students and make healthy, delicious lunches that students enjoy. Thank you for always leading with kindness!
May is Better Speech and Hearing Month!
This annual event provides an opportunity to raise awareness about hearing and speech problems, and to encourage people to think about their own hearing and get their hearing checked. Early identification and intervention for hearing loss is important. Many people live with unidentified hearing loss, often failing to realize that they are missing certain sounds and words. Checking one’s hearing is the first step toward addressing the issue.

Asian Pacific American Heritage Month
Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month recognizes, celebrates, and increases awareness of the rich history, contributions, and accomplishments of Asian Americans and Pacific Island Americans.
During AAPI Month, our Nation celebrates the diversity of cultures, breadth of achievement, and remarkable contributions of these communities; of brave immigrants who, motivated by the promise of possibilities, picked up their lives and found new homes here; of native peoples who have stewarded these lands since time immemorial; and of community leaders shaping a brighter future for us all. Throughout our history, they have represented the bigger story of who we are as Americans and embodied the truth that our diversity is our strength as a Nation.
Join in paying tribute to the generations of Asian and Pacific Islanders who have enriched America's history and are instrumental in its future success. To learn more about this commemorative month, click here: Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Fact Sheet
National School Nurse's Appreciation Day
On May 8th, we honor our wonderful school nurses, Mrs. Socha and Ms. Evans, for all that they do to keep our students and staff healthy and safe. They work tirelessly each day to provide excellent care of our students and are the ultimate professionals who absolutely
love what they do.
Thank you so much for all that you do!
Speech Language Pathologist Appreciation Day
Thank you to our extraordinary speech language pathologists, Mrs. Jenkins, Mrs. Derry, Mrs. Bond, and Ms. Campanella, who devote so much of their time and energy to helping others communicate! You are changing lives daily!

From the Counselor's Office
May is Mental health awareness month! This month was established in 1949 to increase awareness of the importance of mental health and wellness in our lives and also celebrate recovery from mental illness. It can be difficult to know where to start when it comes to taking care of our own well-being but here are three steps to help guide you.
Learn: how modern life affects mental health with new resources to navigate a changing world
Act: by building your coping skills toolbox so you can manage stress, difficult emotions, and challenging situations
Advocate: to improve mental health for yourself, your friends, and family.
A Note from our School Nurses
From the desk of Nurse Evans
Dear Cinnaminson Parent & Guardians,
My last day in Cinnaminson School District will be May 20, 2024. I want to thank you for your partnership in allowing me to care for your child(ren) in the town I grew up in. It has been a pleasure to serve my community. Please contact Memorial School Nurse Office or New Albany School Nurse Office with any medical updates or questions after my transition out of the district, instead of my email. Have a wonderful and healthy end of the school year and summer!
Best,
Nurse Evans

The LunchTime Portal also gives you the opportunity to track purchases, create reminders and set up automatic payments. Below is a guide to setting up your student’s account. If you do not want to pay online and would like to continue sending in cash or check with your student, you are still able to create a username and password to track your students’ purchases and see how much money is on the account.
Payments made online have NO FEES or other charges!
If you would like detailed information, use the “Parent Guide to School Payment Portal”. This document will assist new users with the most basic functionality of the School Payment Portal.
