Note from Principal Lee
Dear Parents,
As we conclude 2024, and break for the winter holiday, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all who help make Hairgrove an amazing place to be.
Parents, of course, are such a critical part of all we hope to accomplish on behalf of our Hairgrove Dolphins. I am grateful to you for doing what I know is the hardest, most rewarding and joyous job of all. Thank you for entrusting us with your most precious gift.
I am grateful to our wonderful, talented, creative, inquisitive, and resilient students. Often, they make us smile or laugh, but they always make us think. Most of all, they make us better.
Of course, I believe the faces of our students best express the true meaning of this holiday season. They radiate a sense of enthusiasm, hope, and joy for life and the opportunities that await them.
To the parents and friends of the Hairgrove community, please have a safe and joyous holiday season!
Love,
Mrs. Lee

Happy Holidays from Mrs. Bell-Young
Hello Hairgrove families!
The holiday season of giving thanks is upon us! I am thankful for my Hairgrove family that I can come to a school full of students and staff that are excited to learn, grow, support and share our creativity with each other in every way!
This holiday season when you are surrounded by friends and family, create a visual journal to combine writing and drawing! Sketch a scene that brings you joy, then write down what was so special in that moment. What colors would you use to reflect your feelings? Share your sketches with each other and enjoy seeing everyone's different experiences other than capturing them through photographs.
Have a wonderful holiday season!
Artfully yours,
Mrs. Bell-Young
Greetings from Ms. Morgan ๐
Hello from Coach Dyson:
Hairgrove Parents,
As the holidays approach, please be mindful of opportunities for movement. There are a lot of fun ways to work together as a family such as: raking leaves for upper body strength, a โturkey trot and walkโ walking and running for fitness (walking and enjoying holiday lights counts too), or perhaps changing some ingredients in the holiday dishes to make them more heart healthy. Itโs important to remember that it is usually the small changes that we make are the most impactful, for your family, and yourself. Get out and have fun together!
Have a wonderful holiday!
Coach Dyson
Clinic Reminders from Nurse Paul
Hello Hairgrove families,
See to Succeed Reminder:
Parents, please be advised that if you have received a See to Succeed packet and permission slip, I need those filled out, signed and returned ASAP so that we can make sure your child receives a free professional eye exam and glasses, if deemed necessary. This is an amazing opportunity; you do NOT need insurance to qualify.
Accidents/Back up Clothing (All grades):
Please remember to pack your child a change of clothes ( including underwear) for school. This goes for all grade levels! I have a very limited supply of loaner clothing available in the clinic. If no clothing is packed, you may need to come to the school and drop off clothing in the event of an accident and incident.
Medication Reminders:
Please remember that any medications that you want signed into the clinic must have a medication authorization form filled out and signed by your healthcare provider, as well as your signature. If it is asthma, seizure or allergy related, I will also need an action plan filled out and signed by your healthcare provider. If you bring me the medication without the necessary forms, I will not be able to accept them. This is district policy.
Hope you have a happy and healthy holiday!
Nurse Paul
