#TeamKidsFirst Updates

By June 2020, all Carroll students will grow academically as healthy, resilient problem-solvers and 70% or more will be proficient in Reading, Math, and Science core competencies, as measured by district and site-based surveys, competency rubrics, digital portfolios, and state and local assessments.

In an effort to leverage the at-a-glance progress pacing option in Empower, starting this week, teachers will need to update student pacing manually. After Wednesday, only the students whose pace changes will need to be updated each week. i.e. A student who is 'on pace' and who continues to be 'on pace' will not require any updating. However, a student who has improved from 'on pace' to 'ahead of pace,' or lost some ground from 'on pace' to 'behind pace' will need to be manually updated. This will provide stakeholders with the ability to monitor the overall health of a student's academic progress in less than one minute of accessing Empower.
