Friday Fun Days
Students will be given a new missing assignment report each Friday. On Friday, during select elective class times, students who have missing work are sent to work with staff members to complete as much work as possible. Students can also use this time to get extra help from a teacher. The deadline to turn in missing work is 3:00 Thursday afternoon; work turned in after that will appear on their Friday missing assignment report. The student will, therefore, be required to attend the missing work classroom. Students with no missing work participate in board games, movies, open gym, and other fun activities their elective teachers dream up for them. Please ask your child if they have any missing assignments and encourage them to complete their missing work. Our goal is to create a culture where all students do all assignments on time. With all of us working together, we can achieve this goal.
Saturday School
Saturday School will be held monthly at Marcellus Middle School. One Saturday each month the middle school will host Saturday School. Students can be assigned to Saturday School by the principal, or they may choose to attend to get extra help with assignments. Saturday School runs from 8:30 a.m to 11:30 a.m. Transportation and breakfast are not provided.
