Looking Ahead...
School will be closed from 11/01 - 11/10. We will welcome students back on Monday, November 11th.
Early Dismissal: 1:30pm on Thursday, 11/14 & 11/21
Parent Teacher Conferences 11/14 & 11/21
Early Dismissal: 1:30 pm on Wednesday, 11/27
No School - 11/28 & 11/29
A Few Friendly Reminders...
School doors open at 8:45 am and school starts at 8:55am. Students may start arriving at 8:40am. For car drop loop, please pull all the way up and let your child out. They must be able to open the door themselves, as you are not to get out of the car in the car loop. After 9:00am, students are marked late and need a parent/guardian signature at the front door.
Please note that students cannot bring cell phones or wear smart watches. If students do carry cell phones, they should be placed in their backpacks off.
Dismissal is at 3:30pm. Please note, this year we will not allow early pick-ups after 3:00pm. This is to keep the office free to help with dismissal.
While we love our four-legged friends, they are not permitted on school property during arrival and dismissal.
Students need to memorize their student id number. They need this to check out at lunch and it holds up the line, especially on pizza day. Teachers sent home a key pad image for them to practice.
We appreciate your continued partnership in keeping Menlo Park Elementary a safe enjoyable place for all!
Menlo Park Pumpkin Patch
On October 23, 2024, Mrs. Gonzalez helped organize a special pumpkin patch event at Menlo Park for six self-contained classes. Detective Kohut and his team, from the Edison Police Department, generously donated pumpkins, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The students had an opportunity to walk around, select pumpkins, and socialize with classmates from other classes. It was a wonderful opportunity for fun, active engagement and building community spirit. Menlo Park is grateful to the Edison Police Department for their support in making the event a success!
