Did you get the email with the good news! We're starting to take reservations for the Padres Game. See all the info below. Thank you to all of our families who showed the team some love this week for Appreciation Week. We are truly grateful.

CAASPP wrapped up this week for 3rd and 4th grade. Our 5th graders are almost done with their science test and will finish up next week. Well done, Falcons! We can't wait to see how well you performed.

On Monday morning, we have a special assembly to celebrate our successful 2nd place finish in the attendance competition. Area Superintendent, Dr. Cazary, and Board Trustee Barrera will be in attendance to celebrate with us. Each student today received a yellow packet with the ticket reservation paperwork. You can turn those in to the office, or use the online form linked below.

Student of the Week

This week's Student of the Week is Warner in Ms. Yamashita's class. Warner is very outgoing. He likes to keep busy by volunteering to take on additional “Leader in Me” leadership roles and responsibilities when students are absent.

The kindergarteners and first graders ended their STEAM unit by becoming “Animal Ambassadors.” Warner researched tigers. He developed empathy after learning their habitat is slowly disappearing due to human activity, clearing of forests to build new roads. Warner realizes humans can also have a positive impact on their environment. He believes everyone can make a difference in their community. Last week, Warner led his class in picking up trash on the UTK/K playground. They counted and sorted 31 pieces of trash. Thanks to Warner, they have become environmental citizens. Thank you, Warner, for being such an incredible Falcon by exemplifying what it means to be a leader at Fletcher Elementary School!
