Meadows Message from Mrs. Krz
October 25, 2024
Dear Meadows Community,
Our annual Halloween Costume Parade will take place on the lower playground (near Meadows Avenue) on Thursday, October 31. This is the material that memories are made of! Please be sure to read the costume reminders below so that you keep to our guidelines. We are now declaring every day after Halloween a PAJAMA DAY, so next Friday I hope to see all students and staff in pajamas. Parents are welcome to join in!
Please be sure to see the events below so that you don't miss anything!

Meadows Halloween Parade
DO:
- Wear a costume that you feel comfortable in and that you can safely walk in.
- Leave your props at home so you don't forget them when you go Trick or Treating!
- Wear costumes that will NOT scare our younger students.
- Face painting:
- Minimal face painting is allowed, but keep it light. Painted faces get itchy after awhile.
- Masks and hoods:
- Masks and hoods can only be worn during the morning Halloween parade, but not in class.
DO NOT:
- Do not bring any costume weapons: axes, scythes, hammers, swords, knives, guns, bombs, etc.
- Do not wear a costume that degrades or makes fun of other people or groups of people, or one that is disrespectful or mimics people in any way related to race, color, religion or creed, national origin, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or citizenship.
Ice Cream Social - 11/1
An Ice Cream Social is set for the first Friday in November, and we hope to see you there. Please remember that the cafeteria will be closed to students and parents. We are asking for parents to keep a close eye on their children and to remember that some students are still learning during the times of our ice cream social.
No School on Monday, Nov. 11
