Cougar Paw Prints 11/13

The past two weeks have been wonderful! Ms. Schiavone getting pied was wonderful, Halloween was wonderful, Make A Difference Day was wonderful, finding out that we are an A RATED ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WAS WONDERFUL! This A rating belongs to every single person at Kellond. The teachers, the support staff, the classified staff, the students, the parents, and the community members. Thank you, everyone. This is what happens when a community comes together to build a school where students love learning, love growing, in a place they love coming.

To our veterans: Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your unwavering commitment. Your bravery has left an indelible mark on our nation, and we are forever grateful.

Kellond is collecting non-perishable food for humans and for animals. Anything you could donate would be so much appreciated.

Reminder about parking your car. If you are going to leave your car for any reason, you must be in a designated parking spot. This includes the drop off/pick up lane in the south parking lot as well as the front fire lane; please do not park in these lanes. You must be in a parking spot. Please also do not park in front of the houses on Lehigh. The neighbors do not appreciate it and are complaining. It is also not safe to cross, especially by the bus bay.

Introducing our first annual holiday bake off! Do you think your holiday cookies are the best, are you always eager to show off your holiday fudge? If you think your baking skills is where you shine, enter our Great Kellond Holiday Bake Off. Click here to register by Saturday, 11/25.

Holiday Shop is coming and it is such a wonderful opportunity for students to get a chance to pick out and purchase gifts for their family and friends. Expect to receive a flyer this week with details. Official shop days will be 12/11-12/15, classes will come during the day and there will be an hour after school shopping for families on 12/13-12/15.

The locally owned coffee cart will be in the south parking lot on Wednesday, 11/29. Please park, buy yourself a cup of coffee and say hi to us.
