Huskie Howler
November 27, 2023
Good Morning Huskies,
On behalf of the faculty and staff of Naperville North, we hope you have had a restful and festive Thanksgiving break filled with family and friends! As we race toward the end of the first semester, we encourage all students to be diligent in work completion, utilize the many resources that are available for additional supports such as tutoring, WIN sessions and time management tools within your student planners. It has been such a successful semester and that is solely due to the hard work of our students and staff through the learning of our rigorous and relevant curriculum at North. Stay focused and reach out to supports as you prepare to cross the finish line with final exams, Huskies, and enjoy the last few weeks of the semester!
Thank you for entrusting your students to our care,
Stephanie Posey
Principal
NNHS Booster Fashion Show: This year's Fashion Show will take place on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024. Save the date now! This is an incredibly fun event for our seniors. It is also one of the biggest fundraisers at North. Lots of help is needed to make this event happen. You do not need to have a senior to volunteer. There are plenty of opportunities to help, short term/long term, day of event help, behind the scenes prep, computer work, committee chair, simple project, etc.
Grateful for NEF: Through a generous grant from the Naperville Education Foundation, our Naperville North Community Center was able to add a number of new manipulatives to aid in the direct instruction of CASEL competencies for social-emotional learning. Also included with the grant was funding for the addition of items to make the Community Center feel more like home, as well as school supplies for students in need. We are so grateful for the NEF.
