"Learning never exhausts the mind."
-Leonardo da Vinci
Join us in cheering on the Ware Indians as they take on the Palmer Panthers on Saturday, November 2, at 1:00 p.m. at Legion Field in Palmer. Tickets can be purchased online through GoFan or at the gate with debit and credit cards. Please note, cash will not be accepted.
Get into the spirit on Friday, November 1, by attending the annual Pep Rally & Powder Puff Game at Veterans Stadium! There is no entry fee; however, unexpired goods/non-perishables/cash donations are suggested. Sponsored by the WJSHS Cheerleaders, these donations will benefit the Jubilee Cupboard Food Pantry in Ware.
Unfortunately, this year's bonfire will not be taking place after the Powder Puff game due to the extremely dry conditions in the Commonwealth. Ware Public Schools, in collaboration with the Ware Fire Department, has carefully assessed the situation and concluded that hosting a bonfire would not be feasible and could pose a safety risk. We extend our gratitude to Chief Martinez for his efforts in exploring alternatives to make the bonfire possible.
Like the two football games missed during the 100-year rivalry due to the events of World War II and again during the Covid-19 pandemic, we assure you that the bonfire will return next year.

Bus Evacuations
Last week, students participated in a Bus Evacuation Drill. These drills are important for students and drivers to practice an alternate way of exiting the bus in the event of an emergency. Thank you to the students who helped in assisting our younger students in the process.

Food Services
The Ware Public Schools Food Service Department provides a comfortable and encouraging environment in which nutritious and wholesome meals are offered. A well-balanced diet is essential for growing children and teenagers, so we design each meal to include all major food groups. Our meals provide the nutrients students need to focus on academics and to perform their best.
Ware Public Schools participates in the National School Lunch Program and the School Breakfast Program. As part of this program, all schools offer healthy meals every school day at NO COST to the students for the 2024-2025 school year.
