Promoting STEAM Thinking in the Umpqua Valley
Growing Early Childhood STEAM Champions
The Umpqua Valley STEAM Hub has been awarded grant money to join with colleagues across the state of Oregon to develop lesson and unit plans that exemplify quality STEAM learning in the Early Childhood classroom. Champions will be learning together what STEAM learning looks like and feels like for students and teachers. Lessons and units developed will be made available on the OREGON Educator Network. As much as is reasonable, lessons will be supported by resources found in the Umpqua Valley Resources Lending Library.
