Blue Rapids Elementary
It's all blue skies in Blue Rapids
It has been an exciting week at Blue Rapids Elementary. On Thursday the building hosted the Rotary luncheon/meeting. The program that day was sharing some of the things that the school district is doing to focus on and improve safety in all three buildings. This included an update on our safety grant and items associated with its implementation. On Friday we had a special visit from members of our Regional CHAMPION football team along with several cheerleaders. They did a great job getting the Jr. Mustangs here in Blue Rapids fired up. With that said, tonight is PLAYOFF football at the high school at 6 PM, be sure to come out and support the mighty Mustangs.
Looking forward to next week, we are excited to host our annual Thanksgiving meal on Wednesday the 20th of November. Parents, please check the lunch schedule below as it has changed a bit to ensure quality time with your students.

We’d like to remind families to discuss a safe route to school with your students. Whether it is on foot, bike, or a car we want everyone to arrive to and from school safely! For students on foot and bike remember that the safest crossings are at Chestnut & Highway 77 in Blue Rapids and Minnesota & Highway 77 in Waterville.
These crossings are monitored both before and after school.
