West Haven Highlights

We hope you had a wonderful break! These next few weeks are going to go by quickly. We had our Hawk Walk Activity today and we are so proud of our students. They work hard to earn the activities.

The Harmony Hawks choir had performed for West Haven City this week as well. They did a wonderful job!

Please remind students to bring their coats. It is getting colder outside and if conditions permit we still go outside for recess.

Our Fill the Sleigh event is coming up on Monday. We are collecting snacks for the classroom as well as kid sized pants for students to change into if needed. We will have a performance by the band and choir and each grade level is hosting an activity. Santa will also be there for pictures.

Mrs. South received the 'I Love Teaching' Award. She will be up for the 'Teacher of the Year' Award as well. Mrs. South is a phenomenal kindergarten teacher and we are so lucky to have her at West Haven. She is very deserving of this award!

The Parent/Student handbook has been updated to reflect current policies and procedures of Weber School District and West Haven. Please take a minute to review the handbook and reach out if you have any questions.

Until the option is available in Powerschool to excuse absences, you are welcome to use the form below to also excuse absences. You are also welcome to continue calling in absences. We appreciate the communication with our families.
