Rock Canyon High School will be hosting a Voter Registration Drive.

The goal of this drive is to encourage our students who will be 18 at the time of the upcoming November 7 election to register to vote. However, this is also an opportunity for families and staff members to register to vote if they wish to do so, or update their address if they have moved since the last election. Simply come to our school during the date/time listed below, check in with security at the front office, and then get registered!

Rock Canyon High School / Tuesday, October 22nd from 12:30 - 2:30 pm

This is a great civic and community engagement opportunity for our students. Also, if we are able to get at least 85% of our eligible high school seniors registered to vote, our school can apply to receive the Eliza Pickrell Routt Award from the Colorado Secretary of State’s Office.

Our eligible students are not required to register to vote via this drive and if you do not want your child to participate, this is an optional activity. If you have any questions about this upcoming voter registration drive, please contact Assistant Principal, Ty Clark.

DCSD 2024 Pathways EXPO

Attend the 2024 Pathway Expo on October 24.

The Expo will highlight Postsecondary Readiness available to high school students including Career and Technical Education, Concurrent Enrollment, and Work-based Learning experiences. The 2024 Pathway Expo is sponsored by DCSD’s District Accountability Committee (DAC) and the Foundation for Douglas County Schools. EXPO FLYER.

RCHS One & Only Fundraiser

Thank you all for contributing to the RCHS School Wide fundraiser/auction. We raised $37,000!!! Thanks to your generosity, we will be able to provide classroom grants, contribute to staff hospitality, and help with after prom.

Funding Needs in our School District

Did you know that the Douglas County School District has 92 schools and a $300 million backlog of capital investments that are needed in these buildings – this includes our school!

Have You Turned in Your Ballot?

Election Day is fast approaching. Please be sure to turn in your ballot by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5. You can track the status of your ballot and find the locations of ballot boxes and other polling centers at www.DouglasVotes.com. Remind your friends, family and neighbors to turn in their ballots as well!
