Volume 5 Issue 26
We finally got some sunshine and had an awesome BBQ on Tuesday and Maverick Hangout on Wednesday. So fun for our students and staff to have time to connect and hangout in a relaxed environment. We also had Read Across America this week with Harold Sullins, TUSD CFO, in attendance. Super fun stuff!
This week's background features pictures from Read Across America, the HS BBQ and grillmaster Mr. David, along with a picture from our Maverick Hangout.

Principal's Message...
For those of you that may not be aware, Tustin Unified School District is supported by the Tustin Public Schools Foundation. The Foundation provides supplemental funds for all schools and hosts a variety of programs including Celebration of Schools, Principal and Teacher Grants, Teacher of the Year Celebration, Robotics Program and Tournaments, After School Sports, and student scholarships, along with my favorite, Tustin Summer Academy. For those interested, the Summer Academy registration opened on March 1st and classes are filling up fast. You can enroll at www.tpsf.net/summer. There are scholarships available for those in need. Please contact me directly at efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us. Additionally, there are internships for any incoming 9th grader and above. We currently have a number of Tustin Connect High School Students that serve as interns currently. If your rising or current high schooler are interested, it looks great on their transcript and is an awesome experience. Plus, they'll get to see me as I'm the director of the program. For more information and the opportunity to apply, use this link. Lastly, if you are interested in supporting the Foundation, you can join the receptoin for the golf tournament or bid at the online auction using the information below.
