School Resumes on Monday, 1/6/25

Dear Avon Lake City Schools Community,

Happy 2025!

I hope that you had a restful winter break, with the opportunity to spend time relaxing with family and friends. Classes resume in the Avon Lake City Schools this coming Monday, January 6th, and on behalf of the administrative team and Board of Education, I look forward to a new calendar year with fresh hopes and aspirations.

The Board of Education will host its Organizational Meeting on Monday, January 6th at 6 p.m. in the L.A.K.E. Center of Avon Lake High School. A Special Meeting will immediately follow, for the purpose of considering ballot measure(s) for the May 2025 election cycle. The district will also hear more about the results to a scientific, community-wide survey that was conducted throughout the month of December in Avon Lake. The public will be permitted to ask questions during this Special Meeting, and we hope to see you there as the district discusses this very important next step for the Avon Lake City Schools.
