-- Message from the Directors --
Dear Legacy Campus Community,
We are excited to introduce our first Annual Report, highlighting the achievements of our students and the impact of Legacy Campus in its inaugural year. As a hub for career-connected learning, Legacy Campus is dedicated to creating pathways from passion to professional success.
In the 2023-24 school year, we proudly served over 400 students across nine career pathways. This year, our reach has expanded to nearly 600 students from 16 high schools across the county. Through our concurrent and dual-enrollment courses, students earned close to 700 high school credits and nearly 3,400 college credits, saving our families over $1 million in tuition. Their dedication shines through a collective GPA of 3.51, second in the district, and a strong 96% attendance rate.
These results are a testament to the hard work of our students, the commitment of our educators, and the support of our community and industry partners. I invite you to read the full Annual Report to explore these accomplishments further.

The Parker Youth Commission is a group of nine Parker-area students who are charged with, among other duties, planning and implementing educational activities for youth.
In November, they will host a free Young Entrepreneur Lunch and Learn event for high school-aged business owners (or soon-to-be business owners) in partnership with the Parker Chamber of Commerce and Redstone Bank. The event will occur on Wednesday, November 20, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Schoolhouse in Parker.
During the event, students will learn and discuss relevant business topics with local business professionals and will have the opportunity to network with them and other teen entrepreneurs. There will be two breakout sessions available for students where they can learn more about two of the following subjects:
- Overcoming client/customer skepticism and perceived inexperience
- E-commerce – platforms, best practices
- Finance - cash flow shortages, managing finances, investors, crowdfunding
- Managing time – balancing your business, school, and personal life, how much put into your business while managing other commitments
- Marketing – increasing brand awareness
Registration is limited! We hope to have students representing all Parker high schools and the maximum attendance for this event is 25 to 30 students.Register at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf08YbZPTNTl08BmejAaELfvyI3-LaI3h_S-LP2j_FPtA3sIA/viewform?usp=sharing

-- Plans for Phase II --
The Douglas County School Board has voted to refer a $490 million bond to voters in November. If the Bond is approved by voters, Douglas County homeowners will not see an increase in current property taxes. The Bond would allow the school district to restructure its debt in order to keep property taxes from increasing. For more information visit https://funding.dcsdk12.org/
Should the bond pass, the DCSD Legacy Campus would be expanding by 6 additional pathways to include: Construction Trades such as Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing as well as Advanced Manufacturing, and Electric Vehicle/Hybrid Maintenance & Repair.
