Message from Mrs. Winkler
This week has been filled with so many blessings and memorable experiences! We were grateful to welcome so many guests for Breakfast with Buddies—what a wonderful way to start our mornings!
On Thursday, our fourth graders had an exciting afternoon at the 2nd Annual Battle at Buechler. We were thrilled to have so many community members join us for this fantastic event. A huge thank you to Mrs. Atkins for her hard work in organizing and planning this fun-filled competition, which is a great way to bring Ranger Nation together!
📢 Report cards are being sent home today. If you have any questions about your child's progress, please reach out to their teacher. We are incredibly proud of our students and all they have accomplished!
Next week is our last week before spring break, and we are looking forward to celebrating with our Ranger Ready Glow Party! If you are available to volunteer, we would love to have your help—please consider signing up.
Have a wonderful weekend, and good luck to our Rangers at Regional! Also, don’t forget to check out the high school musical, Anastasia—it’s a fantastic show!
Go Rangers!

Have you ever wondered what the difference is between a school counselor and an outside counselor? There is a difference and we want to make sure our parents understand the role of our school counselor here at school and how that differs from outside counseling. VISITOR POLICY
At Ferdinand Elementary, we are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all our students and staff. At the beginning of this school year, all Southeast Dubois schools implemented a new school visitor policy using the Safe Visitor system. All visitors are required to check in with a valid driver's license or government issued ID and wear a visitor badge during their time on campus. This policy helps us monitor who is on school grounds and ensures the safety of our community. We appreciate your cooperation and support in keeping our school a secure place for learning and growth. Please review the policy below. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school office.
Attendance Matters
We continue to monitor attendance as we are really working to improve our schoolwide attendance. This year, we will be sending letters out to families as they get closer to the 10 allowable excused abscenses for the year so families are aware of their child's attendance. Thanks to all for helping us meet our attendance goal for the year!
Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful
