Complete 2025 5Essentials Survey
The 5Essentials Survey is now open for responses through March 28th. The 5Essentials parent survey is intended to help school districts understand the conditions at each school and guide improvement. Parent identity and survey responses will be kept completely confidential and will not be connected to their student(s). If at least 20 percent of families complete the survey, a parent supplement report will be generated for the district. To take the survey, visit http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent/ and select the appropriate survey to begin. Families can submit one survey for each child.

Savers Fundraiser: March 12-14th
Time to declutter! North Elementary’s annual Savers Fundraiser is happening soon! Drop off clothing, household items, and more at the U-Haul truck in the school parking lot from March 12-14, 3-5 PM. We accept most items, but clothing and linens bring in the biggest return for our school! Special thanks to U-Haul for donating the truck and Lowe’s for providing garbage bags—each student will be sent home with a flyer and a bag to help pack up donations! We also need volunteers to help unload at Savers—email d47npto@gmail.com if you can help!
Lucky Huskies – Share the Appreciation!
We’re celebrating the incredible teachers and staff who make North Elementary so special! Ask your child why they feel LUCKY at North—whether it’s a caring teacher, a favorite activity, or a special moment. Their responses will be displayed in the faculty dining room on March 17 as a surprise for our staff!
Submit your child’s quote here: Lucky Huskies!
Thank you for helping us spread some joy!

NPTO Website is LIVE!
The North NPTO Website is here! The NPTO does so much for the North community—fundraising, events, school programs, and countless initiatives—so it was time to create a space where parents could easily stay informed and get involved.
This site will serve as Husky Quest HQ, where you’ll find everything you need leading up to our biggest event in April 2025. But beyond that, it’s a resource for all things NPTO—committee opportunities, school happenings, and ways to support our students and staff. This is just the beginning, and we’ll continue improving the site as we go.
