Principal's Message
Greeting families,
I hope you connected with family and friends during this past week. It is always good to be reminded of the many blessing we have in our lives that we sometimes take for granted. These gratitude moments are essential to continue moving forward when adversity hits.
I want to remind you of the importance of daily attendance. Please help the school by taking your children to school daily. If you need to schedule appointments, try to do it after 11:30 am.
Also, if you pick up your child early, please do so by 2:45 pm. That gives us about 30 minutes to prepare for dismissal.
I was informed that there are plans to start working on the playground area during the winter break, so we expect to see some construction. This does not mean the playground will be ready when we return, but we should see some progress. Construction service is checking free-stand options as they meet the permit requirements.
It is also planned to begin the construction of the next phase (second-grade classrooms) during the break. You may notice workers around and inside the building during this time. Once the students return, there will be no construction during the school day.
If you have questions or comments, please do not hesitate and ask.
Thanks for choosing us!
Kind Regards,
Roberto Gonzalez

As you may have heard, flu cases have spiked and many urgent care centers as well as ER departments are overwhelmed with the surge of RSV and respiratory illnesses. Many schools are also experiencing an excessive number of absences. By partnering with Children’s Health School-Based Telehealth they can offer your students easy and convenient access to health care in both school and home settings.
Through the School Telehealth program, they also offer flu and strep testing, at no additional cost to families. The school nurses deliver the tests during the telehealth exam.
