Underclassmen, mark your calendars for picture day! Be sure to dress in your Sunday best on October 16th & 17th. School pictures are a keepsake and important for student records, yearbooks, and student IDs. Show up looking your best and ready to smile!

On October 16th, we will celebrate our incredible principal, Mrs. Lori Ann Garza, who leads our school with strength, vision, and dedication. Her passion for excellence and commitment to each student and staff member make this school truly outstanding. We thank Mrs. Garza for all that she does to ensure our success and for making this state-recognized A-rated school such a special place. Happy Boss’s Day!

The PSAT will be offered to all Juniors! Taking the PSAT is a great step toward your student’s college and career goals! The PSAT is more than just practice for the SAT—it’s a valuable opportunity! Here’s why you should consider taking it:

Congratulations to the Sharyland Girls and Boys Tennis Teams on their undefeated regular season and their success as Bi-District Champs & Area Champs! Next up, is the Regional Quarterfinals….. Our Mighty Rattler Tennis team is poised to keep climbing to the next level!

Congratulations to our Boys & Girls Water Polo teams for finishing their season as Bi-District Finalists! Your hard work and dedication have truly paid off! We are proud of your commitment and dedication to building the program!

Congratulations to our Boys & Girls Cross Country teams for finishing a hard-fought season! A special shout-out to Nathan Salinas for winning the District Championship, Sofia Garza for placing 3rd, and Fernanda Espinosa for finishing 10th individually at District. Best of luck at Regionals!

A huge shoutout to all our amazing FCCLA officers, members, and advisors, Mrs. Kalil and Mrs. Koeneke, for making this year’s Fall Leadership 2024 Conference a total success!

Congratulations to our Mighty Rattler Band members for earning TMEA Region XV Orchestras seats! We can’t wait to see them perform at the clinic and concert on November 15-16, 2024, at McAllen High School Auditorium! We want to extend our community's warmest invitations to attend this year’s UIL Region Marching Contest “Pigskin Jubilee”. The event is scheduled for October 19, 2024, at Tom Landry Stadium in Mission and starts at 7:00 pm. The Sharyland HS Band performs at 8:30 pm
