Tomorrow - Bike or Roll to School!

Ross students are invited to participate in National Bike or Roll to School Day tomorrow (May 4)! To draw attention to the need for Safe Routes to School, kids are encouraged to bike or roll to school.


The first-ever national Bike & Roll to School Day took place on May 9, 2012, in coordination with the League of American Bicyclists’ National Bike Month. Today, thousands of schools across America—from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico—participate every May to encourage children to safely walk, bike or roll to school. Join the movement!

Book Drive Update

THANK YOU for making last weekend's book drive a success. We raised over $5,000 to support our library!


Thank you to the volunteers who spent time staffing tables. And thank you to the many members of our community who donated funds to this important cause.

Nominations are Open for the PTA Executive Board

Nominations are now open for roles on the PTA Executive Board for next school year. You can find more details about the different positions and a form for nominations here.

DC United Tickets Still Available

The Ross PTA has reserved a block of discounted tickets ($27 ea) for the Ross community at the upcoming DC United game vs. Toronto FC on Sat. May 21 at 4PM.

If your family would like to attend, but is unable to cover the cost, please let Principal Searl know. The PTA has set aside funds to help make it possible for more families to join.
