Important Reminders
Vaccinations
State law requires all students enrolled in Texas schools to be vaccinated against specific vaccine-preventable diseases. All students must be up to date with their shots prior to the first day of school in order to attend. Please contact your child's pediatrician or a local health clinic to obtain vaccinations and/or your child's shot record if needed. Students who do not have all of their shot requirements will not be allowed to attend school until this is completed.

If you have not done so already, this is a friendly reminder to please register your student (new or returning) by clicking on the button below. If you are in need of your student's snapcode, please reach out to your campus directly.

We are so excited to welcome new and returning Rattlers for a great 2024-2025 academic year!
Please use our back to school nights to visit your child's classroom and campus. During the first two weeks of school, visitors will not be allowed inside the school building to allow students and staff members to become familiar with district and campus safety protocols. Thank you for your cooperation. Please review the following campus and grade specific upcoming dates and events below. To access the 2024-2025 academic calendar, click here.
Campus start times for the 2024-2025 academic year are as follows:
Bonham & Elementary Campuses –7:35AM-3:15PM
Middle Schools – 8:35AM-4:10PM
San Marcos High School – 8:40AM-4:20PM
San Marcos High School Information
San Marcos High School will host the following upcoming events:
- Freshman Orientation "Rise of the Rattlers" (2 Day Camp) – August 6-7 (5:00-8:00 PM)
- Performing Arts Center Doors open at 4:45 PM
- Freshman Parent Meeting – Wednesday, August 7 (7:15PM)
- Grades 10-12 Rattler Roundup – Thursday, August 8 (4-7 PM)
Goodnight & Miller Middle School Information
Owen Goodnight and Doris Miller Middle Schools will host their back-to-school nights on Tuesday, August 6 from 5:30-7:00 PM.
Elementary Information
San Marcos CISD elementary campuses will host their back-to-school nights on Thursday, August 8 from 5:30-7:00 PM.
Bonham Pre-Kindergarten
San Marcos CISD elementary campuses will host their back-to-school event on Thursday, August 8 from 1:00-6:00 PM. Families with students enrolled at Bonham Pre-kindergarten will receive specific information regarding their back-to-school events.
