As we approach the final stretch before winter break, there’s so much happening on campus! Here are a few important reminders to keep us all in the loop:

• PTA Meeting: Join us on Friday, December 20th, at 8:15 AM for our PTA Meeting. We look forward to your participation!
• LCAP Survey: Your voice matters! Please take a few moments to complete the LCAP survey. Details and the link can be found below in this newsletter. Your input helps shape the future of our school.
• Holiday Shop: The Holiday Shop has been a hit! Stop by after school to pick up some wonderful gifts. Be sure to check in at the front office first.
• Week of Merriness: Don’t forget to show your holiday spirit by dressing up for the Week of Merriness, presented by PAL. Let’s make this last week before break festive and fun!

If you know your student will be absent, please inform both the teacher and the front office as soon as possible. This helps us plan ahead and ensure all students stay on track.

The 2025 GATE screening process for students in grades 2-6 is underway.

• All students in 3rd grade will be screened for GATE. If you do not wish for your child to be screened, complete and return to our school office the Opt Out form linked below. You may also get a copy of the form from our school office or from your child's teacher.
• Students in grades 2, 4, 5, and 6 may be referred by parents or teachers for the GATE testing process by completing the GATE referral form linked below . The deadline to refer your child is Wednesday, January 21, 2025

There will be two virtual parent information sessions hosted by the OUSD GATE office. These will be held using Microsoft Teams. See the bottom of the 2025 GATE Screening Information flyer linked below below for links to the meetings.
