Stand Up of Others!
During Bullying Prevention Month this week, we are reminded to Stand Up for Others.
When you see someone being bullied, be brave and Stand Up for them. Bullies have been known to back off when others stand up. If you don't feel safe, get the help of an adult immediately. Be part of the solution, not the problem!
Bullying Prevention Month is a nationwide call to action to educate communities about their roles in bullying prevention and to raise awareness of this issue. #FCSBEKIND

French Exchange Trip
Our French students will explore France and experience the culture firsthand for the next two weeks as they head off to Lycee Parc De Vilgenis, France.
Cambridge High School’s Theatre Company, THE BRIDGE ENSEMBLE, will be producing a musical about healing and hope, The Spitfire GrillI, as their GHSA One Act Play entry, this year. The story follows a young woman, Percy, who seeks refuge in the quaint town of Gilead, Wisconsin, after being released from prison. While she turns to the town in the hopes of finding redemption, her arrival forces Hannah, the owner of The Spitfire and matriarch of the community, to confront her own past and forces not only her, but Gilead, to seek and find redemption itself. Last year, THE BRIDGE ENSEMBLE took home the State Championship in the GHSA 5A Conference, and believes they have another contender on their hands for 4A. Our school performances are November 1st, 2nd, and 4th at 7pm, and November 2nd at 2pm. For more information about this production and tickets, visit our website: www.cambridgetheatre.org, or reach out to Mr. Kelley: kelleyc1@fultonschools.org

College Applications
College Applications and Deadlines
Application Deadlines
When completing college applications, seniors must remember that counselors and teachers require ten school days (not including weekends or holidays) to submit college recommendations, transcripts, and other forms. For an October 15, 2024, deadline, counselors need the link for Common App as soon as possible. Sending counselors a link at the last minute may not allow time to submit required documents by the deadline.
Note: UGA allows counselors ten extra days to submit required information for a senior. However, seniors must submit their application by the college's October 15, 2024, deadline.
Senior Biography
Counselors need each senior's Senior Biography sheet to write a letter of recommendation or submit forms on their behalf. This form can be found at Applying to College, along with additional information and resources for applying to college. A hardcopy form can also be found in Bridge West.
