TMHS Wildcat Choir
May 13-23
Senior Recognition Concert
Our final concert of the year is Monday evening at 7:00pm in the TMHS Auditorium. Please make sure your students have located their uniforms this weekend.
Call time for the concert for all students is 5:45pm. Students can stay after school before the concert if needed.
All students will turn in their uniforms at the conclusion of the concert for a major grade in addition to the 4 major grades for their concert - performance, punctuality, attire, and audience etiquette. Students will need to bring a change of clothes to change into at the conclusion of the concert. Cell phones will be taken for the concert and students will check out with Ms. White and Mr. Ragsdale after turning in their uniform to receive their phones after the concert. Not turning in their uniform at the conclusion of the concert will result in a late grade. All new officers will assist with uniform check in.
Items that need to be checked in are below, by class:
Belles: Black formal choir dress, pearl necklace (if you went on Spring trip to NYC)
Bel Canto: Black formal choir dress, pearl necklace (if you went on Spring trip to NYC)
Chorale Treble: Black formal choir dress, pearl necklace
Dudes: Black tux pants, black tux jacket, white regular collar tux shirt, pocket square, black long tie
Chorale Tenor/Bass: Black tux pants, black tux jacket, white regular collar tux shirt, pocket square, black long tie
Ties and Pocketsquares must be turned in a ziploc bag with your student's name on it.
Parents of seniors: Please be prepared for the senior recognition portion of the concert. At the conclusion of the Senior Scholarship awards, all senior students will line up on the left side of the stage, and their parents and families on the right side in alphabetical order by last name. Students will be recognized and will walk across the stage to greet their parents and take a photo in front of the backdrop. Following the photo, families will walk down the steps back to their seats and seniors will walk up to the risers.
Breakfast Social
We will have our final breakfast social on Monday morning at 6:45am! This is not required but choir students are welcome to join us for some pancakes before our final concert of the year. This social is just for choir students as we close out the year. Please fill out the google form to let us know what you can bring! Items you can bring: pastries, donuts, breakfast tacos, tator tots/hashbrowns, milk, apple juice, kolaches, muffins. Please do not bring something to be cooked at school.
Memorial Day Flags
Below is the sign-up for our Memorial Day Flag Fundraiser. We welcome your help in distributing flags to our subscribers that support all we do in choir! Your student will earn service points that they can use on choir trips, banquet, & many any other choir expenses. These points roll over to the next school year so you can bank them for future expenses. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, May 15, 2024. We will distribute flags on Saturday, May 18th. We will be at Tomball Memorial High School (bus parking lot) from 9 -10 AM for you to pick up your flags. Flags need to be picked up and returned to the high school on Sunday, June 2nd, from 3 - 4 PM.
PLEASE BE PROMPT WITH BOTH PICK-UP AND RETURN OF FLAGS! These times are when someone will be at the school to give & receive the flags, NOT when you should start collecting the flags for return. You can pick up the day before, but you will need to store the flags in a secure location until the return time.
Here is the flag demonstration video link... https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sFGyA1D2-SwzGad6H_5CWcTx-RlcIEeM/view?usp=share_link
*Please be sure you are able to fulfill both the distribution and pick-up of flags before you commit, or partner with a friend to each do one day or both together!
Thank you so much for participating!!
