What is Scholarship Informer?
We show students and their families how to find and apply for scholarships to pay for college.
The Founder was just like YOU.
Hi there, I’m Gabrielle McCormick
"I remember being where you may be right now: frustrated, stressed out, unsure of what to do next, and the list goes on…
After a season-ending Achilles tendon rupture, my hopes of an athletic scholarship disappeared. And shortly after that… my grandfather died. To cope, I began spending my time studying successful students, making a lot of scholarship mistakes, and drinking a ton of green tea. But those efforts resulted in me earning about $200,000 in scholarships and graduating from college DEBT-FREE. And to be honest, had it not been for scholarships, I never would’ve started my doctorate at 23.
Today, I’m on a mission to teach everything I know about scholarships to help others pay for college."

The College Admissions Network
SCOIR is a place to manage and connect on all things college search, fit, and admissions!
To Request Your Transcript
SCOIR is what you will use when you need a transcript sent to the college/s of your choice. You can also find great resources in SCOIR to use as a tool for college search exploration.
How to Send a transcript request in SCOIR?
When you move a school to “Applied” within Scoir, your counselor receives an e-mail to let us know to send your transcript. Most schools are a part of the Scoir network, and all your counselor has to do is click the “send” button. While our part is quick, it can take up to 6 weeks for your College or University to accept and process your transcript. Their part takes a bit longer since they are processing so many during this application time.
▪ If your college requires a counselor recommendation, getting a student recommendation form to your counselor would also be helpful.https://forms.gle/ir68WxDKqJM4xN2n7
▪ Provide your counselor with a minimum 10 school day notice.
Articles of Interest
Welcome to the month of October! We have a new character trait to discuss with you. This month, we will be focusing on RESPONSIBILITY, and here’s the first thing you should know - Roos choose to do the things we are supposed to do. Think about all of the ways you can show responsibility this week and ask yourself if you are doing what you are supposed to do. Sir Winston Churchill once said that “The price of greatness is responsibility.”
