Dear Tiger Families,
Our Tiger Staff has truly enjoyed receiving your thoughtful shout-outs—thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share them! It has been a joy for me to highlight your kind messages each week. I will be keeping this open for one more week, and then we'll pause until the spring when we’ll reopen it for more shout-outs to our staff. Rest assured, I will pass along all of your encouraging words to our team members. Your recognition of their hard work is deeply appreciated and means so much to us.

Incentive for Tiger Promptness
The tardy bell rings at 7:40 am, and that is the time that classroom instruction starts. To be on time for class, Tigers should be in their classrooms by 7:40 am each morning.
Being present for all of the school day is very important for successful learners. Therefore, during the month of November, we are rewarding all NEVER FOUND TARDY Tigers. Each Friday, Tigers who were on ON TIME ALL THAT WEEK will receive a surprise.
The tardy bell rings at 7:40! Please help your Tiger(s) to be eligible to receive the incentive surprise each week by getting them to school by 7:40 am each day.
We are excited to announce a partnership with the Austin Spurs to enhance our student attendance.
Any student who has no more than two absences during the first nine weeks of school will receive a complimentary ticket to an Austin Spurs basketball game of his/her choice.
Every day that students attend school is vital and contributes significantly to their success. If your child has earned a free ticket, it will be sent home today. Please check backpacks for a QR code that provides instructions on how to redeem the ticket. If you have multiple children who have received free tickets, please contact Rebecca Shaffer at rshaffer@spurs.com for guidance on redeeming more than one ticket.
We will continue this incentive for the second 9 weeks, so keep up the great work!
No Worries! We can Replace SMART Tags
If your Tiger(s) lost part or all of the SMART Tag equipment, we are happy to replace them upon receipt of the cost to replace the missing or broken items. Just let our Receptionist, Mrs. Michelle Harper, know what needs to be replaced. She can accept payment by exact cash (sorry, we have zero change) or by check payable to WCHE. The price list is:
