The week gone by...
We hope you had an amazing, relaxing, and rejuvinating spring break with family and friends! We're excited to see our students back for our final quarter of the school year!! Please be mindful to continue to support their success by having them in school on time, and ready to go! We're open at 8:20 am with breakfast, and kickstart our day with an all school morning meeting from 8:50 am- 9:00 am, then our classes begin promptly at 9am. Let's continue to work together to give them a great start to their school day:-)
Before our break, we enjoyed a week celerating reading and Dr. Seuss! Our students participated in fun theme days, read many books, and enjoyed our Book walk to build up home libraries! Thank you to families who came to the walk, too, and had fun collecting great selections that were brought to us by KPBSD Indigenous Education Department! We look forward to continuing our passion for reading as it's not just a hobby; it's a journey into countless realms of imagination, knowledge, and emotion!
In our ongoing commitment to prioritize the health and well-being of our students and staff, we want to inform you about our KPBSD Symptom-Free Protocol. This protocol is designed to create a safer environment for everyone by minimizing the risk of the spread of illnesses. We kindly request that you ensure your child is symptom-free before sending them to school each day. This includes checking for common symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, and difficulty breathing. If your child exhibits any of these symptoms or has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for an infectious illness, we strongly encourage you to keep them at home, and consult with the clinic. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter, as the collective efforts of our school community are crucial in maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all.
