Thank you for celebrating our students last week at our music concert, basketball games, track meets, parent workshops, and field trips. I am grateful for our community partnerships and families that continue to engage with the various opportunities JLA offers. Here are a few highlights from last week.
Winter Music Concert: It was a night of exceptional talent and dedication. Our student performers, under the guidance of Ms. Elizondo and the support staff, all contributed to a memorable Winter Music Concert on Wednesday evening. Their performances demonstrated their hard work and our families' support.
Sports: Congratulations on a strong season. Our student-athletes competed at their best, demonstrated sportsmanship, and created a competitive and fun environment. I'm so proud of our students and coaches for fantastic seasons.
- Basketball- Congratulations on reaching the Boy's Basketball Semi-Finals. We finished 4th in the Division III league.
- Track- We had an exciting All-City Meet on Wednesday night, where our student-athletes truly shined. We finished 5th in the Division III league. Congratulations to Ciana Shepard, who finished 2nd place in the 200, and Andreunha Carter, who finished 5th place in the Long Jump

- Regular Day Schedule: Monday- Thursday 8:00-2:40
- Minimum Day Dismissal: Friday 1:10
- Scholar of the Month: Monday 3:00-3:45
- Holiday Sweater Contest: Thursday (wear to school)
- Winter Festival: Thursday 3:00-4:00
- PJ Dress Friday: 12/20- this Friday

We are looking forward to a fun and focused last week of December! We will send our next Jefferson Jewels on Sunday, January 5th.
