Hello, wonderful parents! We hope you had a fantastic Fall Break! Let's dive into what we have planned for the upcoming week!
📚 Next Week's Learning Adventures 📚
Phonics Fun: This week, we will explore the world of digraphs! A digraph is when two letters come together to make one sound. We'll be focusing on "sh," "th," and "ng." You can practice words like cash, thick, shop, bath, thing, and song at home. Happy practicing!
Reading Time: We are kicking off Unit 4, "Stories Have a Narrator." When reading with your child, ask them who is telling the story. This will help them understand different perspectives. You can also encourage them to compare characters from two different stories. It's a great way to deepen their comprehension skills.
Math Magic: Our mathematicians are now working on addition within 20. We've been using various strategies such as filling in 10-frames, using number lines, and counting on. Ask your child to show you how they solve addition problems using these methods. It's amazing to see their problem-solving skills in action!➕➖

Upcoming Events 🎉
School Fall Carnival: Join us for some fall fun on Friday, October 25th, from 5-7 pm. There will be games, food, and lots of laughter. Don't miss it! 🎃
Thanksgiving Break: Mark your calendars! There will be no school from November 25th-29th. Enjoy the time with your family and friends.
Things to Remember 📝
