Wredling Families

This week started our PTO's PapaNicholas and Write-a-Check Fundraisers here at WMS! This is the BIG FUNDRAISER for our PTO this year. Our Wredling PTO has made a significant impact in our school environment. Here are some of the things they have supported at Wredling:

Support of school-wide assemblies and activities (ex., bullying assemblies and our iReady incentive)
Equipment for band, orchestra, choir, and drama
Fitness equipment in the gyms
Library books and furniture in our LRC
Murals and banners throughout our school
Support of our students who may have financial need for activities and field trips
Wobble chairs and standing desks throughout our school that give students a variety of seating (and standing) options
Support of teacher request

I hope that you will support our PTO by purchasing some PapaNicholas products or simply Write-a-Check (or donate through PushCoin). I truly appreciate all of the support that our PTO has shown to our students and staff over the years! The difference it has made is significant!

D303 Attendance Procedures

The following information is being provided as a reminder of District 303's attendance procedures and how information may be recorded and shared with a student's family throughout the school year.

Home Athletic Events for Upcoming Sports

Did you know that you can watch all athletics games that are held in our large gym on HUDL? HUDL is an online streaming service that broadcasts our games. You just go to https://fan.hudl.com/ and search for Wredling. Games in the large gym at Thompson Middle School have the same service.

Admission Charged for Conference Tournaments

Starting with the 2024-2025 season, the Fox Valley Conference will be charging a small admission fee for conference tournaments to help offset the cost of officials and workers. Adult tickets will be $3 and Student tickets will be $1. Cash will be accepted at the gate, so please plan accordingly.

Thank You Book Fair Volunteers!

We would like to extend our gratitude to all the amazing volunteers who made this year’s Fall Book Fair a success. Your time, energy, and enthusiasm are beyond appreciated. We couldn’t have done it without you—thank you for making our school community stronger!

Feel free to drop off donations for the Health Office to our WMS Main Office at any time.

D303 Pathways Night at Compass Academy

D303 will host the 4th annual Pathways Night at Compass Academy on October 30. This career fair welcomes employers and educational institutions supporting careers that don't require a 4-year college degree. If you are a business owner and wish to participate in Pathways Night, please complete this form. More information for students and families interested in attending will be available in the next few weeks.

District 303 Partners With GPS Parent Series

District 303 is proud to partner with the Glenbard Parent Series (GPS) to offer our families broader access to information sessions and resources that support their child’s development.

For decades, GPS has been offering free programs that aim to empower and strengthen families, individuals and communities. As a partner organization, District 303 will support promoting upcoming programs and their importance to our local community.
