- Can I send snacks to my child's class?
You are encouraged to contact the school principal depending on the school rules. But by state law, snacks should not be sent to students other than your child. - Can snacks only be eaten at the student's lunch time?
You are encouraged to have a conversation with the school principal to see if exceptions can be made for snacks to be eaten during the day. - If my child has a doctor's appointment in the morning, can he or she return to school afterward?
Yes, it would be ideal for the student to return so that he or she does not miss the entire day of instruction. - If the nurse calls us to pick up our children from school, will they be counted absent from class?
Depending on the student's illness and how long he or she was at school. If it is a chronic illness. - Why was there a change at Alarcon with the snacks offered to students last school year?
Since we no longer have those additional funds, we can no longer offer additional snacks. But please speak with your school administrator to see what can be done in that case. - Will Thanksgiving meals be held all on the same day?
No, this school year, each school will have a day selected exclusively for that day. Borrego and Alarcon will have the same day since those schools do not share parents.
