Principal's Welcome to Parents
Thank you for entrusting us with your children, and allowing us the privilege of working with them during their middle school years. As a father of three beautiful children of my own, I have many of the same questions that you must have as they return to school this year. From the bottom of my heart, please know how precious each of your children are to the teachers and administrators here at Moore, and how committed we are to their social and emotional well-being. I hope that the information included in this newsletter will give you a picture of what your child will experience during the first days of school here at Moore. Remember, these three years will fly by, and we want to partner with you to give your child a happy and memorable middle school experience that will prepare them for the future.
Sincerely,
Aubrey Ballard
Principal's Welcome to Students
I can still remember my first day of middle school. It was so big! Or, at least, it seemed that way. There were so many kids and teachers to meet, and I wasn't sure if I would be able to find my way around a new campus. Even though I was excited, I was also pretty nervous. But it wasn't long before I felt right at home.
You'll feel the same way here at Moore. There will be teachers and students to help you find your way around, and lots of clubs, organizations and activities to choose from. If you are willing to get out of your comfort zone, and GET INVOLVED, you will soon find yourself excited to come to school every day. There are so many opportunities during your middle school years. Let me encourage you to take advantage of them.
Oh, and don't blink! Middle school is going to fly by. And we'll be here to watch you spread your wings. We're already proud of you, and we're excited to meet each new member of our Mustang family.
See you soon,
Principal Ballard

It is imperative that you check your email, read newsletters and stay up to date so we can meet your academic needs. Please make plans to log into Canvas the first day of school by 10:00 a.m. More information is coming soon, but this is how you will be counted present for school each day.
Face-to-Face and Learn@Home students must be present the first day so that they are not counted as "no shows". If you are a Face-to-Face learner who for any reason has to miss the first day, then you may login to Canvas on day one so that you are not counted as a "no show".
