NSAA Football Reminders
Reminders Varsity Football Playoff game vs. McCook
1. Gates open at 6pm. Kickoff is 6pm. Patrons should remain out of the stadium until that time.
a. We understand many patrons have physical limitations that make waiting in lines difficult. We
appreciate your efforts to comply with our game management procedures relating to Gate
Opening Times.
2. Friday’s Event is an NSAA Event. Please note the following:
a. The cost of admission to all NSAA postseason football contests is $8 for adults and $6 for
students.
--No passes will be accepted. This includes BHS-issued student activity passes, family
passes, EMC Passes, etc…
b. We’ve received concerns about the language heard in reaction to events during home football
games on our video streams. Please know that as a spectator at our events, you represent our
community and our school. We strongly urge all patrons to refrain from reacting to a high school
sporting event in a way that negatively impacts our school’s reputation.
--The camera and mic are mounted on the face of the Press Box at the 50 yard line. If you
are seated near the Press Box, your commentary may be picked up on the live stream.
-- Sound can be disabled. Should concerns continue to arise, administration will consider this option.
--We reserve the right to remove patrons who react in unacceptable ways at our subjective discretion.
Finally, I wanted to reiterate the reminders shared with the community prior to our first home football contest this year. Any assistance you can provide in helping us meet these expectations is greatly appreciated.
-Students attending the contest are expected to sit and/or remain in the designated areas as determined by the game management team.
-Students not in the assigned area and not under the direct supervision of an adult or school official will be directed to the appropriate area.
-Students refusing to follow directions or unable to meet the expectation will be escorted from the facility (no re-entry and no refund for admission). Parents will be contacted if a student is removed from the facility.
-Students are not permitted to bring outside drinks or bags into the facility.
-Students in grades K-5 attempting to enter the facility without adult supervision will not be permitted.
-No alcohol or tobacco is permitted on the property of Bennington Public Schools. Individuals found in violation of this policy risk removal from the contest and exclusion from future events hosted by Bennington Public Schools.
-Adult spectators are asked to limit the items brought into the facility to appropriate items such as
blankets, seated stadium chairs, and/or small purse/handbags. All items are subject to inspection by game administration and/or law enforcement. Please do not bring outside drinks into the stadium.
-The NSAA prohibits the following items from athletic contests. These items could possibly lead to a penalty/sanction for the Badgers and can be confiscated: Confetti/shredded paper, powder (baby, talc, etc.), Laser light/pointer, flashing objects, miniature sports balls, objects or candy thrown into the crowd, artificial noisemakers, (included but not limited to horns, cow bells, bells, buzzers, clickers, thunder sticks, rattles, instruments not part of a band), whistles, air horns, sirens, cannons/muskets/guns/fireworks, live animals.
-Drones are not allowed to be flown during any NSAA Football Contest. Referees may stop play if a drone is flown over the stadium grounds.

STAFF FAVORITES
Volunteer Information
Pine Creek will have many opportunities to volunteer and assist our wonderful staff and students! In order for family members to volunteer they must complete the volunteer application process. There are multiple levels for which families can volunteer. There are different expectations and procedures for each level. The levels are:
Level I: NO contact with children, working in areas such as the office, but not directly with any children.
Level II: This level works with children but in a supervised manner. This would include opportunities such as being a room parent, lunchroom parent volunteer, classroom presentations from parents, or with the book fair. Parents will complete the application process but will NOT have a background check. This is for volunteers who will NOT be left unsupervised with children.
Level III: This is for field trip volunteers. Any volunteer that may be alone with children will first complete the application process and then have a background check by the district. Level III applications need to be submitted to the school office a minimum of two weeks prior to the field trip to ensure ample time for a background check to be completed.
As you start looking ahead, it may be of benefit for you to complete this process if you have a desire to be a room parent or accompany the class on a field trip.
We would love to have as many volunteers covered and ready to go to properly be prepared for anything or any activity our classrooms may be doing in the future. Now is the time to get prepared for the wonderful activities we have planned throughout the school year.
All applications must be submitted to the Pine Creek Elementary office and must have an official signature of the person applying to be a volunteer. Attached is the volunteer application.
