Eagle Nation News
Week of September 2
Notes from the Principal's Desk
Dear Parents and Families,
We desperately need your help in following the directions in accessing the school via Green Meadows and Lou Belle Street. The community around the school has the right to call the police if you are blocking driveways and parking on their lawns as you are waiting for the line to move. Also parents that are following the procedure for pick-up do not have to extend the courtesy of allowing others to cut in front if you are coming from a side street leading to Lou Belle. Do not park at Blair, on the grass, or in our outer lot and ask your child to walk to you.
Please be patient as we have no better way to direct traffic and to make the lines move faster. Please pull up as far as you can and once stopped your child can walk to your car. This allows for multiple cars to load simultaneously and move the line much faster.
Thank you to the many parents who are consistently following the established procedures. We see you and are thankful for your cooperation in helping keep all students safe.

One to One Devices
Mrs. Nash and several amazing parent volunteers have been working diligently to get the laptops ready for distribution. We do not have dates yet, but will share information as it becomes available.
Several of the middle schools, including Noble, have decided that it is in the best interest of students for them to leave their laptops at school each day to charge in their homerooms rather than taking them home. There will be a process for students to check out their device overnight.
As part of NHCS Technology Learning Plan, all Noble Middle School students will receive a laptop. You can read more about the details of the roll-out and find FAQ on the NHCS One to One website

Noble PTA
There are so many ways to get involved at your child's school. Check out the NOBLE PTA NEWSLETTER!
The PTA is a great way to support your child's school. We are fortunate at Noble to have an extremely active PTA that works to make Noble a great place to work and learn. Last year, the PTA funded the purchase of new umbrellas to add to the previous year's Picnic Tables for our courtyard area. Other examples are teacher grants, hosting events, facilitating the school store, and countless volunteer hours supporting our staff and students. We hope you will consider becoming a member of the Noble PTA.

Arrival & Dismissal
The school day is from 8:25 am-3:40 pm.
Campus Access: Please enter the campus using Lou Belle Street ONLY for both drop off and pick up. Do not use Blair School Road.
PM Pick up: Dismissal is at 3:40
Car Riders: 6th and 7th grade and those carpooling will use the primary line along the curb. Students should wait along the front wall. ONLY 8th graders will use the secondary line. Students will wait along the sidewalk of the outer loop. We ask that parents pull all the way up to maximize space and load as many cars as possible at the same time. This will keep the car line running smoothly and reduce your wait. Please do not park in the staff lot or neighboring side streets and ask your child to walk to you. This undermines our procedures and compromises student safety.
A Message from the School Nurse
A reminder that all 7th graders are required to have Tdap and Menactra vaccines before the 30th day of school and students new to NC need to turn in immunization records and Health Assessments. The school nurse can assist in finding a local medical provider to obtain these.
