It's Kids Heart Challenge time!

Dear Parent or Guardian,

On March 2nd and 3rd, Carver Elementary School is holding a Kids Heart Challenge event to raise money for the American Heart Association. Please see the event schedule for the specific date and time of your child’s event.


Kids Heart Challenge is a fun event that teaches heart health and promotes community service. Over the next several weeks, our students will learn about taking care of their hearts, participate in fun cardio activities during PE, and raise money to fund the American Heart Association’s lifesaving research and educational programs. Participants will receive thank-you gifts based on the amount of money they collect. Our school will also receive gift certificates for physical education equipment.


Family and friends are welcome to support your child’s participation by making donations. Everything can be done online easily with the Kids Heart Challenge app or website. You can help your child send emails and texts as well as post messages on your social media accounts. Students will also have a collection envelope for cash donations and checks made payable to the American Heart Association. For safety purposes, we ask that children not go door-to-door or ask strangers for donations.


In 2022, our students raised $18,400 for the American Heart Association. We were named one of the Top 40 KHC Schools in Georgia. Please support our event and help us surpass last year’s total!

Steps to Success



  • Set a fundraising goal with your child and send emails to invite friends and family to support it.



  • Participate in the family challenges to complete Finn's mission.



  • Return your child’s online donation report and collection envelope to Ms. Crowley by Friday, March 3rd.

Our goal is $20,000!
