Early Release Day - Friday, October 11

We will have our first early release day on Friday, October 11. Students will be dismissed at 11:33am. A sack lunch will be provided to students before they leave.

Morning Routine

A note was sent home on Thursday with your child indicating a change in our morning routine for kindergarten students.

A change is coming for Luce Road Kindergarteners beginning Monday, October 7! At morning drop-off, each student will be given the choice for breakfast or they will head off to the playground for recess first thing! If they choose breakfast they can eat in the cafeteria and then head out to the playground once they are finished - if time permits. Supervision will begin at 7:30am as normal. All children will head to their classrooms at 7:53am to continue their day!

Please be sure your child is appropriately dressed for the weather. On inclement weather days, students will all remain in the cafeteria.

ATC/DART Riders

It has been communicated to us by the director at ATC/DART that they will no longer be sending us a rider list for the afternoon.

If you have signed your student up to ride the ATC/DART bus home from school, you must contact the main office to let us know.

Community Connection

Walk-In Flue & COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics at MMDHD (Mid-Michigan District Health Department)

MMDHD will be offering Walk-In Clinic for Flu and COVID-19 vaccines. There will be no appointments scheduled on these days. Vaccine availability will be based on a first come first served basis.

MMDHD Gratiot Branch Office:

Vaccines available for everyone ages 6 months & up. ID & proof of insurance required. Most insurances accepted.

APS App/Rooms

Please make sure you are using and checking the APS app, Rooms. This is the way your teacher will communicate with you throughout the year about all the great things going on in your classroom. If you have any questions about the app please contact the main office, 989-463-1012.

Child Care

Tuition-Based Preschool
