Greetings Evergreen Families,
Wow, our last newsletter for the 2024 school year. What a wonderful first year at Evergreen. I want to thank you ALL for your continuous support throughout the school year. It has been a pleasure getting to know all of the amazing students. It is an astonishing transformation to watch the social and academic growth that each student makes from September to June. The Evergreen staff is so proud of each student's accomplishments.
I want to share that our OUTSTANDING Ms. Walters will be retiring after 15 years. We will miss her deeply. We need to give a huge THANK YOU for all of the love and support she has given to the Evergreen students and to the families.
Over the summer, we will undergo a front office renovation in support of adding a security vestibule in the entryway, which is installed in all schools. The sign-in and sign-out process will look different. As you enter there will be a small window where you will be greeted by a secretary or safety assistant to assist. There will not be access directly into the office. This will certainly look and feel different; however, it ensures an extra layer of safety. We appreciate your understanding with the new procedures for school year 2025.
June 4th is the annual field day event. Please be sure to apply sunscreen in the morning and add an extra set of clothes/shoes in your child's backpack for backup if necessary.
During the month of July, we have some summer events planned in our media center. Please reference below for details.
Enjoy each moment of your summer break. Remember to laugh, rest, be safe and make family memories.

EVERGREEN PTO UPDATES:
The PTO is happy to offer the school supply kits again this year, complete with all supplies on each grade list! Get a head start on school supply shopping, so you don’t even have to think about it during summer!

SUMMER TO-GO MEAL PROGRAM:
Summer Food Service Outreach: To-go" meals will be located at LHS, CHS, OES, and SRMS offering 5-day meal pick-up on Mondays starting June 10th. Parents must pre-register their children by filling out the form linked below or bringing them to the site when they pick up meals. We will also be operating Lunch and Learn and Lunch at the Library. Those programs don't allow meals to leave the premises, so no additional paperwork is required; however, since some parents may not bring their children to pick up these to-go meals, we must have additional information from them. Please post the flyer found in the Summer 2024 Graphics folder below and also link the form to your Weekly Smores.
